We are halfway through December, and this month has been quite variable in both temperature and precipitation across the Southeast.  Florida has been above normal in temperature, especially south Florida, while other areas of the Southeast have been below normal.  Precipitation also varied quite a bit, with a streak of wet weather across southern Georgia which helped reduce the drought in those areas and eliminate dry conditions from along the coast.  Other areas including the peninsula of Florida have been drier.
