Growing Produce recently published a summary of the 2024 Atlantic Tropical Season. It provides a table that lists the original forecasts from several different groups and compares them to the total number of named storms, hurricanes, and major hurricanes. All of them did quite well. The article also describes some of the impacts of the strongest storms on specialty crops in the United States.
