The latest Drought Monitor map, released today, shows that a lot of the region saw improvement in drought conditions due to the rainy conditions that occurred over much of the area. There are still a few areas of extreme drought where rain was more limited. More improvements are likely next week as we continue to experience a rainy pattern. Puerto Rico continues to be free of any dry conditions.
