The latest Drought Monitor, released earlier this week, shows that the area of D3 extreme drought on the west coast of Florida expanded somewhat over the week, but most other states just saw minor changes in abnormally dry (D0) conditions. A rainier week ahead in Florida is likely to reduce some of the drought conditions over the next week. Puerto Rico saw minor decreases in drought this week.
