The latest Drought Monitor, released today, shows virtually no change in most of the states except for Florida. In the Sunshine State, abnormally dry conditions expanded although the area covered by drought did not change. With rain in the next week confined to the northern part of the region, they are likely to see an increase in drought coverage on next week’s map.
