The latest Drought Monitor, released today, shows improvements across the region due to rainfall from a stalled front as well as the initial rainfall ahead of Hurricane Debby. Further improvements are expected in next week’s map, especially in the northern half, which will incorporate the Debby rainfall that occurred after the Tuesday cutoff. There are currently no dry conditions in Puerto Rico.
