This week’s Drought Monitor shows that abnormally dry conditions were removed from South Carolina and contracted in North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, and Alabama with all the rain we have had in the last week. The area of moderate (D1) drought was removed from western Florida and shrunk in Alabama. No changes are expected this week as rain will be relatively light.
