The rainier conditions this past week have helped continue to reduce the drought intensity and areal coverage across the Southeast, with many areas reverting back to no drought conditions where the rain was heaviest. This trend is expected to continue on next week’s map due to more rain falling this week. In Puerto Rico, there were no changes from last week.
