The Perspectives tool at the Southeastern Regional Climate Center shows how individual station temperature and precipitation observations this fall rank compared to their long-term averages. The maps show that many areas in the Southeast reported their top ten warmest falls on record, not a big surprise for those of us who have enjoyed it. Precipitation was also in the top ten wettest for many locations, a legacy of all the tropical systems which have passed near us this year.
