June 1 is the start of climatological summer for us in the Northern Hemisphere, although it already feels like summer in my house since the air conditioning is broken (at least until tomorrow). This is my last blog post since I am retiring as of June 1. By my count I have done 8,364 posts since the blog started on April 15, 2014. Most of them have not been very exciting but I hope they have all been useful.
