The recent snowfall in southern Georgia and nearby regions brought a lot of moisture and cold temperatures to the citrus groves that are growing around that part of the state. Lindy Savelle, the executive director of the Georgia Citrus Association, suggests that now would be a good time to treat the snow-affected trees with fungicide according to this recent article in the Citrus Industry newsletter. The unusual conditions this winter has caused producers to have to consider treatment they might not have to do in a more normal, non-snowy winter.
