Drought.gov has a good overview of drought conditions across the United States this year at https://www.drought.gov/news/summer-2023-review-look-back-drought-across-us-10-maps-2023-09-21. While we did not have much drought in the Southeast, it is interesting to see how it developed in other parts of the country and what evaporative stresses there were on parts of the Southeast, especially in Florida where the worst drought occurred.
