Rain this weekend will give way to mostly dry conditions for most of the Southeast during the work week except for Florida. Rain is moving through Alabama and Georgia on Saturday and will traverse the eastern parts of the region Sunday into Monday. The next few days will be dry before a coastal low pressure will develop along the East Coast and will bring showers back to parts of the region late in the week. Next week does not look wet either, although temperatures may be warmer than usual. The tropics are pretty quiet, with Tropical Depression 15 expected to become Hurricane Nigel but predicted to move north before it gets close to the US. The next wave off of Africa has a small chance of developing in the next week but would have to cross the whole Atlantic before it could threaten us if it does not turn to the north as the previous storms have done.
