The latest Drought Monitor, released this morning, shows that the extent of moderate drought was reduced in South Carolina and Georgia and removed from Alabama and Florida in response to recent rain and cooler temperatures. With virtually no rain expected in the next week along with very warm temperatures, we may see an expansion again next week, however.
