The Georgia Climate Project (GCP) is a three-year effort by academic institutions across the state (including Emory, Georgia Tech, and UGA) to improve understanding of climate impacts and solutions in Georgia.
GCP is working on something called the Georgia Climate Research Roadmap.  The roadmap is an effort to identify and rank “Georgia’s Top 40” climate research questions.  The objective of this effort is to identify and rank 40 of Georgia’s most important research questions that, if answered, would most contribute to advancing knowledge and creating solutions to the challenges that climate change poses to Georgia.

We want to determine which important questions, if answered, would most help policymakers, practitioners, and scientists to better understand and address climate-related challenges and opportunities in Georgia.  This includes agricultural producers!
We are in the early stages of this process, and this process begins with you: we are asking experts from across the state to submit candidate questions pertinent to your field, sector, and/or geographic location.
Can you help?  If you are willing to contribute, please use this link to submit candidate questions:

This should only take 5-10 minutes of your time, depending on how many questions you want to submit.

After submitting your candidate questions, please feel free to forward this email to your professional network.

Thank you very much!
