The latest 7 day QPF map for the US shows that there will be quite a difference in rain amount for the next three days over the Southeast. Florida and the adjacent areas of Alabama and Georgia will see a significant amount of rain over the next three days as a front stalled over the area will bring significant rain to that part of the region, while other parts stay dry. After that 3-day stretch, high pressure will reduce the rain chances in most of the region to near-zero for the rest of the week. Week 2 is expected to be wetter and warmer than average, and the warmth is likely to continue through the first week of June although it is not clear how much rainfall we will get late in May and into June.
