There have been many impacts from the current exceptional drought in the Southeast. One that has not been mentioned until lately is the decrease in stream flows on many of the region’s rivers. Many water bodies, including reservoirs and farm ponds, have lost a lot of water due to the combination of no precipitation and warm temperatures, which enhance evaporation.
