Last week NOAA’s National Hurricane Center released the final report for Hurricane Helene. The report includes descriptions of the storm’s lifetime, including how it formed and where it went. There is a long section on weather records from the storm as well as a state-by-state description of the impacts from the storm and some representative photos showing some of the storm damage. You can read it at https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/data/tcr/AL092024_Helene.pdf.
