I’ve been getting more questions about the potential for a tropical storm or hurricane to make landfall in the Southeast sometime late next week. Apparently I’m not the only one, because the NWS put together this graphic to discuss why it is too early to worry about it yet, although it is something you should keep an eye on next week. If you have an outdoor event next weekend (not this one), then you might be a little more vigilant, but it is still too early to make any changes in plans until the storm actually forms and starts to move.
Reminder: It’s too early to say if a hurricane will hit the Southeast late next week
