The latest Drought Monitor, released earlier today, shows only slight changes from last week. Abnormally dry conditions have been added to parts of Georgia, South Carolina, and Alabama, and there have been some minor improvements in drought in Virginia, but otherwise there is not much change. With quite a bit of rain in the next week, we can expect to see some of the areas of dry conditions shrink or go away. There was no change in Puerto Rico’s drought conditions this week.
