The dates for the Southeast will be different, but the advice about what kind of soil conditions to look for is still good. You can get soil temperature data in Georgia from our UGA Weather Network sites, and most of the other states in our region also have state networks that also provide some of that information. You will get the best crop if you plant at the best time, not necessarily the earliest or the most convenient time.
