NOAA’s Climate Prediction Center released their updated outlook for December 2021 today. It shows an even higher probability of above normal temperature in December in the Southeast, based mainly on very warm conditions that are likely over the next week or two. Precipitation is expected to be below normal in the southern part of the region, typical of a full-fledged La Nina.
