On July 7 the USDA designated 10 Georgia counties as primary natural disaster areas. Producers who suffered losses due to recent natural disasters may be eligible for U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) emergency loans, according to Morning Ag Clips. The designations were due to a variety of bad weather, including heavy rains, severe weather, and frost. About 25 counties that are adjacent to the primary disaster counties are also eligible for financial aid like emergency loans.
