The broad center of Tropical Storm Cristobal made landfall on the central Louisiana coast about 6 pm EDT on Sunday June 7. In a lot of the Southeast, the biggest impact was cloud cover. But in Florida and the very southern parts of Georgia and Alabama, heavy rain also fell. The highest amount in Georgia was about 5.5 inches (and still falling as of 7 pm on Sunday) at Valdosta measured at both the airport and the UGA Weather Network site. The storm is expected to move northwest and then curve to the NE, eventually passing over Wisconsin (their 4th ever) and Hudson Bay as a remnant storm. They should see heavy rain and high winds as the storm moves through mid-week.
