The State Climate Office of North Carolina is continuing its blog series of posts on memorable hurricanes this week with their latest post on Hurricanes Dennis and Floyd n 1999. While Dennis was not a strong storm, it did drop a lot of rain that later helped amplify the destruction of Floyd about 12 days later.
