The Climate Toolbox is an online source of climate information from a consortium of agencies in the Northwest. However, a number of their tools are available for the entire lower 48 states. You can view historical data for many different climate variables, including degree days, chill portions, evapotranspiration, and streaks of days below certain threshold values for temperature and precipitation. They also provide information about short- and long-term climate forecasts and (for the Northwest) information about future climate scenarios and how that could affect their ability to grow certain crops. They have a tour of the site available if you want to learn more. Check it out at https://climatetoolbox.org/.
