The latest monthly and seasonal outlooks for the US were released earlier this week. They show that for both August and the August through October period, temperature likelihood leans towards warmer than normal conditions, but precipitation shows equal chances of near, below and above normal. The remaining drought in the Southeast is expected to be eliminated by October.
