The latest monthly climate summary for the US was released by NOAA last week. It shows that for the contiguous US, this April was relatively warm, especially along the coasts. Most of the Southeast was warmer and wetter than usual except for a few areas in southern Georgia, where moderate drought has expanded over the past month.
