This week the US Environmental Protection Agency released a new report on the costs of the changing climate and the benefits to consumers, businesses, and others on making choices that help prevent the worst effects of a warmer climate. Some of the figures in their report were previously shown in the massive NCA2018 report that was released on Black Friday last year. This report goes into more depth on the impacts that are expected and how choosing to reduce carbon emission and other proactive measures will prevent a lot of the costs of dealing with the warmer climate that will happen if no changes are made.  You can read more general information about the report in the Los Angeles Times at https://www.latimes.com/science/sciencenow/la-sci-climate-change-costs-billions-20190408-story.html.
