Now that spring is here, many home gardeners are eager to get out and start planting, hoping to avoid a late frost and get an early start on the growing season. For many parts of the Southeast, we may have already seen the last frost of the year, but the long range forecasts still do show some chance of chilly overnight conditions, so it pays to be prepared in case we get another freezing spell.
