The latest 7-day QPF map shows that we can expect mostly dry conditions over the next seven days. The rain that does fall will be mainly confined to the northwest edge of our region, as the main storm track puts rain through the Ohio River Valley to our northwest. The highest chance of rain will be the next three days, with lesser amounts in the same areas for the rest of the week. Temperatures should rebound from the cold conditions last week and we could see 70s or even 80s in some locations, well above normal. This is a bit worrisome for fruit growers, but with a lot of swings back and forth it may not last long enough for the trees to break dormancy.
