Winter barely started before North Carolina got its first major snowstorm of the season earlier this week. The State Climate Office of North Carolina posted a story about the heavy accumulations of snow that occurred in this storm. In some cases the amount of snow that fell was the same as the average annual total. Since it is so early in the season, the chance that they will get more is quite high. Stay tuned!
