Would you like to know more about how the weather works? Here is a new four-week online course on the weather offered by the University of Exeter and the Royal Meteorological Society in Great Britain. In it you will learn the basics of atmospheric science with demonstrations of fronts and other concepts. There is no cost but you can upgrade if you want a certificate of completion and a longer time to watch all the videos. Since it comes from Great Britain, the lecturers all have English accents, which might sound even better than your garden-variety American. Fortunately, the weather is  mostly the same wherever you go, so the concepts should also apply to the Southeast. You can see a few trial video clips and sign up at https://www.futurelearn.com/courses/learn-about-weather.
