The East Coast is the focus of the heaviest rain this week, as a slow-moving front stalls in the area. Still, everywhere in the Southeast has at least some chance of rain every day for the next week, and that pattern is likely to continue into August as well. The wet conditions in the Carolinas should help to get rid of some of the abnormally dry conditions that have been growing there for the last few weeks. Meanwhile, Texas and the West Coast are expected to see no rain at all for the next seven days.
