I frequently hear complaints from some of my friends who are skeptical about climate change that the climate models are no good and therefore any projections they make about future climate cannot be trusted. I find that interesting because climate models are similar to weather forecasting models in how they operate although some facets of what they are designed to do are different. I know these people use weather forecasts daily and presumably trust them even if they are occasionally wrong. I was interested to read this article in Carbon Brief comparing past model predictions of climate from several  different models over time to what actually happenedand explaining why they were off when they were. Maybe you will be interested too. Here it is: https://www.carbonbrief.org/analysis-how-well-have-climate-models-projected-global-warming.
