The State Climate Office of North Carolina has issued their guidance on what to expect this weather in NC. They provide a discussion of the current La Niña forecast and some other climate variables that may play a role as well as a list of several analog years similar to this year’s conditions. While the outlook is specific to North Carolina, the forecast and most of the weather they expect is similar to what we would see elsewhere in the Southeast.
