The latest 7-day QPF shows that the heaviest rain this week will occur in coastal areas of the Southeast, with much less rain occurring inland. The cold front moving through the area will bring drier air to the inland regions and reduce the chances of rain until late in the week when the front starts to move north again. Areas in Florida and along the Gulf and Atlantic coasts will be along the front for much of the week, which will bring showers to the area throughout the week.
