Chris Robbins off iWeatherNet.com posted some information about Friday’s weather on his Facebook page Thursday night for Atlanta/Athens/N. Georgia.  He noted that Friday’s high temperatures in places like Atlanta and Athens GA would likely be set overnight as a strong cold front passes through the state, dropping temperatures after it passes.  The high temperatures during the day will probably be 20-30 degrees below normal, but because of the warmer temperatures overnight, we may not set record low maximum temperature records.  His forecast maps for the position of the cold front and the pool of very cold air are shown on the included figures.  Friday will have scattered showers and gusty winds as well.
