The 7-day QPF map shows that parts of the Southeast are expected to get several more inches of rain this week as a weather system stalls to our west. Mountainous areas and most of Alabama will receive the most rain. The driest area this week will be the Florida peninsula, which will struggle to receive even an inch. It is still the dry season there, and no shift in the pattern is seen in the near future for those folks, who are already struggling with drought and wildfires.
