The Southeast Farm Press released a short article on five causes of cattle death that are not common but become more frequent in drought or after frost. Lee Jones, University of Georgia veterinarian, recommends having an animal that dies suddenly with unknown causes to have a thorough autopsy done by a veterinarian to determine if any of these situations is a factor.
