The Southern Region Extension Forestry folks have posted reminders of two upcoming forestry workshops on their Facebook page today.

The Forest Products Society in conjunction with Mississippi State University is offering an Introduction to Wood Science and Forest Products course, scheduled for September 26 – 28, 2016, at Mississippi State University’s Department of Sustainable Bioproducts, Starkville, MS.   The three day course will feature sessions on the basics of wood and wood-based products in construction, wood and the environment, product properties, wood anatomy and other topics.
