Exactly one year from today, a large part of the United States will see a solar eclipse of the sun as the moon passes between the Earth and the sun.  The path of totality will pass directly over northeast Georgia and most of South Carolina. There was a lot of publicity about the eclipse today, including maps of where you will be able to see the total eclipse (weather permitting, of course!).  Here are some of the web sites which have information on the eclipse, so you can plan ahead if you want to see it.
