AgWeb posted an article this week about the wettest areas of Texas, where some stations have received over 100 inches of rain in 15 months.  This just a few years after a devastating drought in that region.  You can read a description of where the heaviest rain fell here.

Fortunately, while heavy rains this spring delayed some watermelon planting, the volume of melons has not been affected, according to The Packer.  The rain also spared onions, which were near the end of their harvest cycle and were minimally affected.  You can read the article here.
