CNN posted an interview with Dr. Erin Lipp, professor of environmental health at the University of Georgia, on the topic of the impacts of changing climate on health and diseases.  Dr. Lipp says that the changes in climate we have seen in recent years can increase risks for human health, no only through increases in heat but also through changes in the range of insect vectors which can carry diseases like malaria and Chagas disease.

Similar impacts are expected on animal diseases as well as heat stress.  You can see the interview at https://www.cnn.com/2015/11/20/world/two-degrees-question-climate-change-and-disease/.
