Here in Athens GA it is raining as I write this. Not a pleasant day to celebrate the Fourth, unless of course you like rain! Most of the Southeast should see at least an inch of rain in the next week. Some areas in the peninsula of Florida and in the mountains could see more. Great news for the farmers as crops need rain in this critical part of the growing season! If you are hoping to cut hay, the driest part of the week should be Tuesday through Thursday in most areas. But check the forecasts because things can change as the weather patterns evolve. The temperatures are also expected to continue to be warmer than normal.
