The blog writer points out a variety of issues that keep people from taking scientific results seriously, even in the face of a lot of scientific data. The posting lists a variety of tactics skeptics use to deny scientific evidence that does not fit their preconceived notions. A lot of these tactics are also used by climate change deniers to put down clear evidence of changing climate across the world. You might recognize some of these tactics from people you deal with every day.
