The National Weather Service has a new experimental product that can show you the weather along your trip route. The NWS Enhanced Data Display provides the ability to look at weather in layers of temperature, precipitation, wind etc in an interactive map-based format. To get the travel weather, go to the main page at https://preview.weather.gov/edd/ and look for the little yellow slippery driving sign on the top right. You can enter your starting and ending point like Yahoo or Google maps and pick your starting time to see the weather along your route. Drive safely!
