AgWeb reported from a story in  Bloomberg today that rains twice the normal amount fattened pods from North Dakota to Ohio in August.  The soybean crop is expected to yield a record 18 percent higher than last year after farmers planted 11 percent more than in 2013 due to favorable markets early in the year.  The story pointed out that seven out of 10 of the years since 1960 with the highest yields came in years with August rainfall above average.  You can read the story by clicking here.
