Modeled after the Camden County Master Naturalist Program, the program aimed to educate youth ages 11-15 on natural resource issues and careers through interactive experiences. Participants visited Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge, Jekyll Island, Altama Wildlife Management Area, Sapelo Island, and Cumberland Island National Seashore. Topics included land management, swamp ecology, wildlife and wildlife management, fisheries, marine biology, forestry, prescribed fire, native plants, and invasive species management.
