And yet, few of us know anything about how to control them. On April 21, 2022, several of the world’s most knowledgeable fire ant specialists will provide information on the biology and management of fire ants and several other nuisance ant pests.The webinar is free and open to anyone who needs to control fire ants. County agents in GA, FL, AL, NC, and SC can register and view the webinar for personal in-service training. They can also host a webinar viewing for those individuals in their county who would like to receive State CEUs (SC and NC only). Licensees in NC and SC can only claim the credit if they view the webinar at their local county extension agent’s office. State CEU credit is NOT granted in GA, FL, or AL. Or, if credit is not needed, any person in ANY state can view the webinar from any location and on most devices.
